Prof. Dr. Elham Shafik Aazam born in AL Madinah al Munawara-Saudi Arabia. The first co-op chemical engineer at Aramco in 1984. Obtained BSC in Chemical Engineering from North East London University in the UK in 1985. Professor in inorganic chemistry specifically organometallic chemistry. Obtained my PhD degree from Sussex University in the UK. Held the position of head of chemistry department (female section) from 2012-2018 at King Abdul-Aziz University. Supervised many master and PhD students. A reviewer in many scientific journals. A Referee for promotion of faculty members at many Saudi universities. Obtained many publication prizes. Translated the book (Principles and Applications of Photochemistry) and got the prize of translation from the Dean of Scientific Research (KAU). Have more than 65 publications in esteemed international journals. Participated in many international conferences, attended many seminars and engaged in different university activities.
